The study discussed the implementation effects of the land rearrangement from 1997 to 2010 in Guangdong Province comprehen- sively, includes the management system, the rearrangement of agricultural land and urban construction land and the restoration of abandoned land etc. After making the detailed analysis of their progresses and problems, the improving measures of land rearrangement were discussed, such as the change of management system and ideological conception, the strengthen management of supervise and coordinate work, the ex- pansion of investment channels, the reinforcement of professional management, the building of information management system etc. In view of the above-mentioned facts, the study will be following proposals for the land rearrangement in the further work.
