In this paper, bond energy of α pinene isomerization was calculated. Based on the acidities of the selective catalysts XC 90, HMC 60, the products distribution from α pinene isomerization and analysis of kinetic equation , the selective catalysis mechanism of α pinene isomerization was explored.
