农民工城市适应的文化心理探析

An Analysis of the Cultural Psychological Barriers of Rural Migrant Workers to Adaptation to City

由于城乡文化差异,农民工由农村到城市,会经历一个城市文化适应过程,其实质是一种文化迁徙或文化交往过程。它受文化适应原理和文化维模原理的制约,遵循文化进化规律和优势扩散原理,因此,农民工要想适应城市,就应当改变其农村文化心理中不适应城市文化的部分,而这种转变会受到其原有农村文化心理的牢固程度、变动的频次、对原有农村心理的轻视乃至鄙弃、恐惧心理、自卑心理和高傲心理等影响。基于此,农民工应当采取整合策略、主动改变策略、学习策略、消极心理消除策略等。

Due to the differences in culture between the urban and the rural, rural migrant workers might ex- perience a process of adaptation to urban culture when they move from the countryside to the cities, the essence of which is a process of cultural migration or communication, which is restricted by acculturation and latency principle, and follow the law of cultural evolution and the principle of spreading advantage. To adapt to the city life, migrant workers should change the part of their rural cultural mind in conflict with urban culture. The change is affected by the degree of their rural cultural mind, the frequency of their migration, the disdain or con- tempt for their original rural mind, the fear of adaptation to the cities, inferiority and arrogance, etc. Migrant workers should, therefore, adopt such strategies as integration, active change, learning, and elimination of nega- tive mind.
