摘要
The State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing at Northwestern Polytechnical University was established in 1995, on the basis of the university＇s original foundry division, a national key discipline. The current Director of the laboratory is Professor Huang Weidong. His research teams have been pioneers in study of fundamental research of solidification, advanced solidification technology and materials preparation, which are of great importance in understanding the solidification behavior of metals and other material.
