乘务英语课程是针对乘务专业学生开设的、以客舱服务知识和客舱服务用语为主要内容的专业课程。其不同于普通大学英语的根本就在于乘务英语课程教授的是专门知识和专业技能,这决定了本课程的ESP属性,并在教材、教法、评估和师资方面引起新的思考。

Cabin English for Civil Aviation is the one that cultivates the cabin attendants with cabin service skills and knowledge,altogether with service language.It differs from EGP with its tasks to cultivate the particularly professional knowledge and skills,which determines the ESP quality of this course as well as the different approaches of teaching from general college English.Moreover,teaching materials,teaching methods,assessment methods and teachers also need rethinking.
