Long-distance pipeline construction in African jungle and swamp areas faces various special local environmental conditions. This paper introduces a Ghana natural gas pipeline project in such areas and its construction difficulties,puts forward the construction scheme,control measures for key procedure,welding quality ensuring measures and anticorrosion coating protection measures. The project completes smoothly by means of these measures.
