摘要
1937-1945年北平沦陷时期,译事活动并未停滞,单行本或合集形式的译著陆续零星面世,各类报纸杂志更是普遍开设译作栏目。政治局势、译介载体性质以及译者个人文化立场、艺术趣味之间的复杂交织,使该时期的译事面貌呈现出很大的丰富性和复杂性。在官办杂志《中国文艺》译作风格多元化的努力背后,折射出本土知识分子疏离日伪政治、秉承"五四"新文学旨趣的独立姿态。
The translation activities in Japanese-occupied Peking didn't remain stagnant from 1937 to 1945. Many translations in the form of monographs and anthologies were published, and it became prevalent for magazines and newspapers to feature translated works. These works were diverse in themes and subtle in conveying the translators' intentions under such intertwining influences as the prevailing political context, the nature of the publishers, as well as the cultural and artistic tastes of the translators. Chinese Art,: though a literary magazine sponsored by Pro-Japanese Regime, endeavored to diversify its translations with a preference to European and American works, displaying an independent stance by consciously keeping distance from the Regime and inheriting the "May Fourth" cultural tradition.
