摘要
当前文化"走出去"已经成为我国的国家战略,但"翻译问题"却成为实现该战略的瓶颈。文章基于"文化认同机制假说",结合近年来中国文化因子外译事例,指出中国文化因子的外译需经过"语码转换系统解码和审查、排异系统过滤、最终进入目标文化认同区"的过程,才能最终被目标语言使用者认同和接受。研究表明:译者能力、国内翻译审稿人或出版社的审校、国外翻译行为主体的监控和目标语言使用者的接受等是影响中国文化因子外译的主要因素,并提出在文化认同基础之上构建中国文化"走出去"的译介模式,以期为实现这一国家战略拓宽思路。
The "going global" of Chinese cultures has been established as a national strategy in recent years, but translating has become a bottleneck to achieve it. Based on the hypothesis about an acceptance mechanism for cross-cultural communication, this paper discusses and exemplifies how the translations of Chinese culture-loaded words are identified by target cultures in the process of "going global" : they go first through the code-switching system to be decoded and semantically-examined, and then go into the rejection system for being culturally-filtered, and finally enter the culture-shared area and thus win its identity in the target cultures. In the process of "going global", various translation factors should be taken into account, such as the translator' s ability, the censorship of Chinese publishing houses, and foreign translation agents' supervision, and TL users' acceptance. This study is supposed to shed light on constructing the translation mode for the "going global" of Chinese cultures.
