This paper describes and analyzes the pictographic scripture "Tsoburuku" used by Namuyi Tibetan ritual priests. The manu- script measures 980 cm long and 20 cm wide. It is divided into 128 sections and contains a total of 3,600 pictographic tangka paint- ings. This pictographic scripture is designed to guide departed spirits as they retreat to their ancestral homes. It also serves to describe the Namuyi Tibetans' migration route, committing to writing the arduous process by which the Namuyi Tibetans in ancient times roamed westward until they reached the valleys of the Jinsha River, the Yalong River and the Dadu River. The "Tsoburuku," a majestic Namuyi epic with a rich mythological flavor, has piqued the interest of scholars the world over.
