With the increaseof learners, the basic education of guzheng plays a key role and is increasingly impor tant. Guzheng educators should focus on four aspects based on the current situation of the basic education of guzheng, namely ＂basic skills＂ as the premise of the training of the core quality, ＂expressive force＂ as the step, ＂integrity＂ as the keystone and ＂originality＂ as the standard. A deep understanding of the content and education methods will be the key to improve the level of basic education of guzheng.
