诃子与菩提树一样,都是佛教的圣树,诃子具有较高的药用和观赏价值。文章对诃子树的生物学特征、佛教渊源方面进行较为详细的介绍,并从药用价值、文化特征等方面浅议了白云山重新打造诃子树林的意义。
Terminalia chebula is the Buddhism Saint Tree with high medicinal and ornamental value.The biological characteristics,sutra origins of Terminalia chebula were introduced in the paper. The meaning of Terminalia chebula afforestation in Baiyun mountain was discussed according to its medicinal value and cultural characteristics.
