Settlement monitoring is an important work for high-rise building in the period of construction or operation. This paper introduced a settlement monitoring plan for an engineering example. The result of settlement monitoring was got through 490 days monitoring. Then the settlement laws of the high-rise building were analyzed. Some experience is accumulated in the construction. The Settlement monitoring work ensured the safety of the high-rise building and could provide information or reference for the similar projects.
