食物与政治的微妙关系由来已久,因此讨论食物是如何影响政治,又是影响到何种程度的尤为必要。古代盛宴"满汉全席"和当代倡导的"光盘运动",在文化批评和社会学相关理论的支持下恰好体现出食物在不同阶段展示的政治意义。两个案例中的社会背景、整体影响、大众反应以及政府态度迵然有别,但两个发生于不同时代的现象却被食物联系在一起,并且都对政治产生了重要影响。

The relationship between foods and politics is a delicate and long-standing one.Therefore it is necessary to explore how and to what extent foods have affected politics.Man-han Banquet,which represents ancient Chinese culture and＂clear your dish＂campaign,which represents the modern society,have embodied the political implications of foods in various stages of social development from perspectives of cultural criticism and sociology.The social background,overall impact,public reaction and government＇s attitudes are completely different in the two cases.However,the two kinds of social phenomenon existing at different times have been linked together by foods and have exerted a significant influence on politics.
