Strengthening the Characteristic of Packaging Education to Enhance Influence of the School

包装教育是湖南工业大学长期以来精心打造的办学特色,强化包装办学特色是适应国家教育战略重大转型的需要,是适应经济社会和市场发展需求的需要,也是打造教育品牌、增强学校软实力的需要。湖南工业大学在发展包装特色教育的过程中,取得了一些成绩,却也存在一些问题,要采取以下措施针对性地解决存在的问题:严格把关,抓好师资队伍建设;强化科研,以重大项目带出标志性成果;加大投入,加强教学科研硬件设施建设;跟踪调研,建立扎实有效的信息反馈机制。惟有如此,才能强化包装特色,以实现学校的稳步、快速和可持续发展。

Packaging education has long been the elaborately built school-running characteristic of Hunan Univer- sity of Technology. It is the requirement for adapting to the important strategic transformation of national education as well as the economic, social and market development to strengthen the characteristic of packaging education, while it is also the demand for establishing the education brand and enhancing the soft power of the school. During the developing process of packaging education, Hunan University of Technology has achieved some success, yet encountered some problems. Accordingly some measures should be taken as follows： strictly managing teaching staff construction; consolidating scientific research and accomplishing symbolic achievements through some major research projects; increasing investment to reinforce teaching and research facilities; establishing the solid and efficient information feedback mechanism by following up and survey. Only in this way, the steady, rapid and sustainable development of the school could be achieved with the reinforcement in the characteristic of packaging education.
