Unprecedented achievements have been accomplished in packaging design in Ming and Qing dynasties, and packaging design with natural materials was no exception. The materials included bamboo, wood, paper, rattan, birch bark etc., which were chiefly characterized by their diverse types, fine workmanship and exquisite technique. It has becomes a rich source in developing natural material packaging at present.
