Objectives A series of executive measures were taken to decrease drug cost proportion of total cost by strengthening pharmacy administration. Methods It is crucial to establish a serial of relatively feasible and long-term management mechanism to standardize the rational medication,which includes： implementing director responsibility evaluation system,developing an extraordinary medication warning system of dynamic management.Results Through the implementation of these measures,the drug cost proportion of the hospital presented a declining trend year by year. Conclusion Following the in-depth development of the national medical and health systems reform,the hospital administrators should take some efficient measures to promote the quality of medication.
