摘要
超验主义者是19世纪上半叶美国文化界的主要发言人,他们将伦理置于很高的地位,尤为重视伦理建构。理想人格的建构是伦理建构的核心。超越主义者所书写和创作的理想人格是新亚当。研究超验主义散文中的新亚当,对位考察先秦儒家经典中的"君子"有一定的现实联系,即超验主义者对儒家典籍,特别是《论语》有一定的接受和引述。从人格的角度分析,新亚当与先秦儒家经典中的"君子"具有较高的契合度,这也说明了建立全球伦理的可行性和必要性。
Transcendentalists who had been the main speakers for half of the 19th century American culture put ethics in high position,especially attached great importance to the ethical construction. As the construction of ideal personality is the core of the ethical construction,their writing and creation of ideal personality is the new Adam. The research of the new Adam in the transcendentalist prose has certain realistic connection with the investigation of the "Junzi"in the Confucius classics. The transcendentalist doctrine makes a counterpoint to the Confucian classics and The Analects of Confucius has been to some extent accepted and quoted in particular. From the perspective of personality,the new Adam and the"Junzi"of the pre-Qin Confucian classics are analytically comparable. Hence the feasibility and necessity of establishing global ethics.
