摘要
受自身文化气质的影响,老舍创作中常常出现情感与理智的二律背反。老舍一方面以一个现代知识分子的眼光观照乡土中国的种种社会、文化弊端,寻求民族新生之路;同时又难以割舍"老中国儿女"的文化情怀,对当时以"西化"为主要代表的"现代文明"难以真正认同。这突出表现在他对"洋派青年"的讽刺、揶揄以及"男性本位"主义的女性观上。
Influenced by his own cultural disposition,there often emerges a kind of contradiction between sense and sensibility in Laoshe’s creation. On the one hand,Laoshe seeks an outlet for the Chinese people from the various social and cultural malpractices in old China. On the other hand,he cannot really accept "the modern civilization"taking"westernization"as its symbol,because of his cultural feelings of being a child of the old China. Such manifestation exists in his cartoon-like description of "the modern youth"and his attitude to women.
