摘要
对于大学英语教学来说,阅读教学是非常重要的一环。但是当今大学英语阅读教学主要存在偏重句子结构分析、偏重重点语法讲解、偏重阅读应试技能、忽略文本文化内涵等误区。为了提高大学英语阅读教学中的教学效果,作者结合自身教学实践,以一篇大学英语阅读课文为案例,通过尝试"翻转课堂——变教师独讲为学生自学研讨、以小见大——挖掘文本的具体文化背景、中外比较——感受中西方的文化差异"等文化分析方式来提高大学英语阅读教学的实效。
English Reading teaching is a vital part in the College English teaching. However,our present College English Reading teaching is mainly focusing on the vocabulary,grammar and sentence structure. This traditional English teaching method,to some degree,hinders students from developing their reading comprehension ability. The writer of this paper,based on her own teaching experience,discusses the importance of cultural analysis in College English Reading teaching. This article starts from the misunderstanding of College English Reading teaching,followed by the importance of cultural analysis,and its implement in College English Reading course,so as to improve students’ reading comprehension level.
