Preliminary Report on Breeding of 871×872 and 873×874

如皋市2013年晚秋蚕期进行了蚕品种871×872、873×874在农村地区的适应性饲养调查。结果表明,871×872、873×874品种的孵化率高、食桑旺盛、抗病力较强,产量和效益也较好,基本适合在如皋地区的晚秋蚕期饲养。

The adaptive feeding survey of the new silkworm varieties 871×872 and 873×874 in village was taken in Rugao in late autumn of 2013. The results showed that the new silkworm varieties 871×872 and 873×874 had high hatching rate,powerful situation of eating mulberry leaves,strong disease resistance,better yield and benefit,which means that the the new varieties were basically suitable for feeding in late autumn in Rugao。
