Analysis of Foreign Research Evolution on Information Visualization Based on Bibliometrics

摘要 以Web of Science数据库收录的1996-2010年间国外信息可视化领域研究论文数据为研究样本,从发文量年度分布、论文引文、学科领域分布、国家(或地区)分布和高频关键词进行计量分析。此外,利用可视化分析软件CiteSpace绘制共词聚类网络与突变词时序分布图谱,并结合对近三年国际会议主题的定性分析,考察国外信息可视化领域研究发展格局、研究热点、前沿领域与趋势等进展状况,总结研究基本特点或规律,为国内同领域的研究规划与发展提供必要的参考。 Using datum of foreign articles on the topics of information visualization published from 1996 to 2010 from Web of Science database as the research samples, this article analyses the annual distribution of amounts of articles, the citation of articles, the distributions of subjects and countries (or regions), and keywords with high frequency based on bibliometrics. In addition, this article explores the conditions of research evolution including research development distribution, research hotspots, frontiers and trend of research on the foreign information visualization with mapping knowledge domain of co-word clusters and burst terms' timely distribution by using CiteSpace as a visualization analysis software and qualitative analysis of international conference subjects for nearly three years, sums up basic research features or laws to provide necessary references for the plan and development of domestic research.
