Along with the rapid development of global movement, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) that reflects the idea of "Everyone is equal", attempts to share global high-quality curriculum resources with every remote corner of the world. But the current research shows that MOOCs benefits people who have received higher education, which in turn, will broaden the educational gap. To tackle this issue, this study analyzed the challenges of current MOOCs in educational balance,we found that information literacy, communication skill, knowledge reserve, motivation and emotion, the universality of the platform design influenced the differences in learners' achievement to a certain extent. We also tried to explain the issue from a digital gap perspective and proposed corresponding strategies in order to support MOOCs to meet the needs of educational equality.
