Public diplomacy has received due attention from the governments around the globe. Russia, in this regard, also seeks to launch public diplomacy through a variety of approaches. As one of the major languages worldwide, Russian is an important objective that the Russian government’s public diplomacy dedicates to promote. The history and reality of the language vary across different regions;therefore, Russian exerts heavy inlfuence on the public diplomacy and the Russian government needs to handle relevant issues properly.
