Now many people are studying neural network which is one of the products of the development of computer theory and technology.The BP network,one of neural networks,has been successfully applied to many fields.From the view of Software Engineering,the BP network is a black box.But in fact,it is of deep significance in Maths.This paper proves that the BP network is the generalization of tradictional regressive model.And it would be of broad applied uses.At the same time,an applied example was given.It was progressively indicated that the work of the BP network was not substituted by tradictional statistical method.
