摘要
研制了一种微型6针卧式结构的850nm超辐射发光二极管(SLD)模块,该模块采用激光焊接方式实现全金属化耦合封装,通过对模块结构的优化设计,使模块体积缩小为标准8针蝶形封装体积的一半。该模块在100mA工作电流下,尾纤输出功率大于1.5mW,光谱宽度大于20nm,纹波系数小于0.5dB,同时选用高效率微型半导体制冷器(TEC),使其正常工作温度范围和储存温度范围分别达到-50-75℃和-60-100℃。
A 850nm superluminescent diode module(SLD)with the structure of miniature 6pin horizontal shells was introduced.Fully being metalized by laser welding,the module volume is reduced to be half the volume of standard 8pin butterfly package through optimal structure design.The module at 100mA operating current is characterized by the coefficients of over 1.5mW output power,over 20nm spectral width and below 0.5dB ripple,which makes the normal operating temperature range from-50℃ to 75℃and the storage temperature range from-60℃ to 100℃ when highly effective miniature TE cooler is choosen.
