摘要
在过去 2 0年中人们提出许多处理水运动的方法 ,但大都致力于生成真实感的动画 ,而对传统手工绘制的水运动效果建模问题几乎无人涉及 .本文给出一个自动生成卡通风格涟波及波光闪烁效果的计算机模型 .首先介绍如何从手工绘制的卡通涟波及波光闪烁画面中提取它们骨架的静态结构与动态结构 ,然后沿骨架定义形状属性来生成卡通涟波及波光闪烁 .通过引进随机分量控制 ,本模型可以自动生成无重复机械感的并与卡通风格一致的涟波及波光闪烁序列画面 .此外 。
Many methods for dealing with water effects have been proposed in the past two decades, most of them however aimed at generating realistic water images and little effort has been spent on modeling cartoon water effects. This paper presents a model capable of generating cartoon ripples and shimmering in a procedural manner. That shows how to abstract static and dynamic structures of the skeleton for ripples and shimmering from hand\|drawn series and, based on those structures, reproduce ripples and shimmering with proper rendering models. By stochastically varying the parameters, the model is able to generate ripples and shimmering effects automatically with the look of traditional cartoon and avoid using the repeated cycles that may cause mechanical looking of the effects in hand\|drawn animation. Furthermore, the paper also gives a method to show how to extend those effects from 2D to 3D and relevant examples are given simultaneously.
