摘要
本文对普通高等院校中青年教师教学能力和科研能力之间的关系进行了实证分析,其中教学能力既包括本科生教学能力也包括研究生教学能力。实证结果表明,青年教师的本科生教学能力和科研能力并没有显著的相关关系,同时研究生教学能力和科研能力也仅仅具有很弱的负相关性,而进一步的回归分析否定了两者的显著相关关系。这从一定程度说明传统的"科研能力强,教学能力也一定强"的论断有失偏颇。其结果还进一步说明,目前的考核体系以及岗位管理方面存在一些深层次问题,亟须改进。
The paper examines the relationship between the teaching （to graduates and postgraduates ） and research of teachers in universities. Result shows that there is no close correlation between the teaching and research of young teachers. Teaching to postgraduates is only loosely related to research ability ; this correlation is to be denied by a regressive analysis. The result demonstrates that ＂high research ability means high teaching ability＂ is not necessarily correct and that something must be improved in the present evaluating system.
