Augustine's Early Questioning and Thinking About the Origin of Evil

对"恶的来源"问题的追问在奥古斯丁的思想中尤为重要。早期奥古斯丁对此问题的观点经历了不少转折,而这些转折也成就了奥古斯丁思想层次的提升。奥古斯丁先是受到摩尼教的影响,接受一种二元的善恶观,又在遇到疑惑后转向怀疑论。经历过渡期之后,他吸收了新柏拉图主义哲学的一些观点,并以此为基础重新解答了"恶的来源"问题,并将其应用在对伦理之恶的解释中。

The questioning about the origin of evil is very important in Augustine＇s thought.Augustine＇s early point of view on this issue went through a lot of turns,which also advanced his thinking level.Augustine was first influenced by the Manichaean so that he accepted a dualistic concept of good and evil,but later when he had doubts,he turned to Skepticism.He absorbed some of the views of the neo-Platonic philosophy after his experience during the transition period,and based on it he re-answered the problem about the origin of evil and finally he applied it to the interpretation of the ethical evil.
