从路遥《人生》的故事中,可以看出城乡二元户籍制度的残缺给城乡交叉地带的知识青年带来的悲惨命运。文章试图从理性选择制度主义的角度,深入分析城乡二元户籍制度存在的问题及原因,探讨个人的发展是如何受制度框架影响的。通过回顾城乡户籍制度的发展历程和借鉴西方城市化建设的经验,对改革我国城乡二元户籍制度提出合理建议。

The story of Lu Yao＇s Life reflects the tragic fate of the educated youth in the urban and rural intersecting district brought by the defects of urban and rural household registration system. This article attempts to analyze the problems of urban and rural householdregistration system and causes from rational choice institutionalism, and discuss how the development of the individual is affected by the institutional framework. Through reviewing the development of urban and rural household registration system and based on the experience ofthe western urbanization, reasonable suggestions for reform of urban and rural household registration system are put forward.
