虚拟制造是信息时代制造技术的重要标志，是建模与仿真技术对制造业的全方位改造。本文结合国家CIMS中心的最近研究进展，研讨了虚拟制造技术的内涵和体系结构，介绍了虚拟制造技术在典型产品开发中的应用。

Virtual manufacturing (VM), the landmark of information era, is the all-sided innovation caused by modeling and simulation technologies in traditional manufacturing. In conjunction with the recent progress of VM R&D in The National CIMS Engineering Research Center, the connotation of VM and its architecture are discussed, and VM applications in a typical product development are introduced in this paper.
