The security and economy for lubricating the main components of drilling units were analyzed in detail,which included driving system of drawworks,driving device of rotary table,swivel,drilling pump,hydraulic system,pneumatic system,air compressor and wireline.It is considered that the rational lubrication of all the components of drilling unit is the premise of ensuring the security of drilling units,the correct selection of lubrication oils and their types can improve the economic benefit of drilling units' operation.
