Qu Qiu bai and Shanghai University

192 3年瞿秋白曾任上海大学行政委员会委员、社会学系主任。他与邓中夏一起为上大制定了办学方针 ,设置了院系 ,革新了教学内容和方法 ,开启了马列主义占领大学讲坛的先河 ,使社会科学的教育与中国革命斗争的实践紧密结合。他在上大的教学实践活动 ,不仅丰富了党的教育思想 。

In 1923, Qu Qiu bai was appointee the member of Executive Committee of Shanghai University and concurrently the dean of sociology department. He, together with Deng Zhong xia, worked out the guiding principles for the university's development, founded some other new departments and updated the teaching contents and pedagogy. They, too, took the lead in introducing Marxism and Leninism to the lectures in college, thus combining the education of social science with the practice of Chinese revolutionary struggle. Qu Qiu bai's teaching practice in Shanghai University not only enriched the educational conceptions of Chinese Communist Party, but also contributed to the theoretical construction of the Party.
