矿井应急控水系统属防治矿井水灾的减灾系统，以建设新型应急控水墙为主要措施，超前在矿井采区及采掘工作面建立应急控水墙基础并配备相应防治水材料。以备发生大量突水时，实现快速封闭突水巷道、控制排水量，为后续水害治理工作赢得时间，最大限度减轻突水造成的危害。
