The Programming and Perspective of 2015 World Leisure Games——Interview with Derek Casey,the Chairman of World Leisure Oraganization and the General Secretary Christopher R.Edginton

在2012年意大利罗米尼举行的世界休闲组织理事会上,青岛市成功地获得了举办2015年第二届世界休闲运动会的主办权,笔者与世界休闲组织主席德雷克.卡塞先生和世界休闲组织秘书长克里斯托夫·爱丁顿教授,就2015年第二届世界休闲运动会的基本理念、主要目标、项目设置、举办规模、对城市的发展影响和居民生活质量的提高等问题进行访谈,对这种全新运动会发展模式给出了具体规划和设想。

On the 2012board meeting of World Leisure Organization held in Rimini Italy,the Qingdao City got the right of staging 2015the Second World Leisure Games.From May 17th to May 21th,Derek Casey,the Chairman of World Leisure Organization and Christopher R.Edginton,the General Secretary of World Leisure Organization as well as Prof.Ling Ping visited Qingdao and LeiXi cities and met with City Mayor of Qingdao Zhang Xijing,the vice City Mayor of Qingdao Xie zhenxin,the party Secretary General of Leixi Liu sinzhen,the City Mayor of Leixi Jei jaonDo,review the process of the programming,discussed with the team members and got to know the developing foundations of management for the 2015the Second World Leisure Games.During that period of time,the author had a chance to deep discussion with Derek Casey,the Chairman of World Leisure Organization and Christopher R.Edginton,the General Secretary of World Leisure Organization on the basic ideas and main goals of 2015the Second World Leisure Games which will be held in Qingdao and LeiXi cities as well as the preparation of the Games like sports events,the funding,the construction of the sports arena and the organization committee.From this deep interview,we can get some new idea of this new leisure game and get to know its contribution to enhance the quality of life for the community.
