迈向有竞争力和符合成本效益的争议解决制度

本次演讲主要探讨降低国际商事仲裁的争议解决成本将会包含哪些因素的＂共同协作＂。根据演讲人在香港担任法官、律师和仲裁员的丰富经验,以及其所熟稔的新加坡仲裁实践,来自于法官、仲裁员、律师和当事人这几个方面的支持因素均会在这一过程中不可或缺。同时,演讲人也就此提出了多项建议,希冀由此引起对于适当处理国际商事仲裁中日益攀升的争议解决成本问题的更进一步的讨论与争鸣。

The lecture focused on what a ＂ concerted effort＂ to bring down the costs of international commercial arbitration might involve. According to the lecturer＇s rich experience as judge, lawyer and arbitrator in Hong Kong, as well as the arbitration practice in Singapore,supports from judges, arbitrators, lawyers and clients will have to be involved in this process. Suggestions were provided with hope to lead to further discussion and debate escalating costs in international on appropriate ways to deal with the commercial arbitration.
