Tang Junyi had considered carrying forward Chinese culture and a sense of humanity as his responsibility all through his life,and played an active role in promoting the civilization dialogue between the East and the West against the background of cultural conflict and integration between China and the West.He had explained similarities and differences between the spirit of Confucianism and western culture,and had rational interpretations on the spiritual value of Chinese Confucianism,which highlighted the historic status and modern sense of the spirit of Confucianism.
