摘要
文章运用DEA的方法对中国零售连锁上市公司2005--2008年度的经营效率进行了分析。研究表明，在现有的资源和技术条件下，零售连锁企业全要素生产率变化主要是得益于大幅增长的技术进步，而非技术效率的提升。零售企业的规模表现为日益扩张，但管理却跟不上其扩张的步伐，效益未能得到同步提升。要提升零售连锁企业的经营效率，提高从业人员素质，合理配置资源，提升管理水平已势在必行。
This paper analyses business efficiency of retail chain listed companies in China from 2005 -2008, using DEA method. The results show that change of total factor productivity of retail chain enterprise is mainly due to the great increase of technological progress, instead of the enhancement of technical efficiency. The scale of retail enterprise is increasingly expanding, while manage- ment can＇t keep up the pace of expansion, with a result that the business efficiency can＇t be increased at the same pace. In order to improve the business efficiency of retail chain enterprise, it needs to improve the quality of employees, allocate resources reasonably and promote the management level.
