A Research on the Collection of Overseas Remittance in Fujian and Its Significance

19世纪末20世纪初,福建侨批因为派送地域的关系,逐渐形成为以厦门、福州、涵江、闽西诸口岸城镇为中心的四大地域体系,使侨批散布于全省各侨乡。随着时代的进步,福建侨批先后被民间集邮界人士和政府有关部门收藏,并进行相关研究。后来,福建侨批逐渐彰显出它的重要价值,体现出世界意义、历史意义、时代意义和地域意义。

In the late 19th century and early 20th century,Overseas Remittance in Fujian gradually formed a system including four geographical parts,with ports and cities as the center,such as Xiamen,Fuzhou,Hanjiang,and the west of Fujian,so the overseas remittance spread in the hometowns of overseas Chinese from Fujian. With the progress of time,Overseas Remittance in Fujian has been collected and researched by civil philatelic circles and government departments. Later,overseas Remittance in Fujian gradually underlines its important value,and reflects the world significance,historical significance,the significance of the times and geographical significance.
