Democracy is as a function of ideology in the process of capital imperialism seeking hegemony in the world.Because the separation of economic field and political field in the internal of capital imperialism leads to economic democracy and political democracy fragmented,the real content of democracy cannot be realized.Capital imperialism pursuing its economic coercion in the division of democracy is weakened and class rule is intensified,realizing the accumulation and value added of capital,expanding the capital flowing space.Capital imperialism is deviated from the principles of democracy,launching the Infinite War under the guise of democratic aggression,eventually in the inner contradiction can not be reconciled to the disintegration.Wood’s exposition helps to understand the essence and characteristics of capital imperialism.It has important theoretical and practical significance for the construction of democratic politics in China.
