Some Puzzles of Ancient Zhuang Characters and Their Research Values

壮族的古文字至少有古壮字、坡芽歌书、甘桑石刻文字三种。古壮字字数敏多,其研究对汉字传播史、自源字与借源字的关系、拼盘文字的发生等研究有重大意义:坡芽歌书的研究有助于我们了解早期文字的基本面貌;甘桑石刻文字的研究还处于初级阶段,其研究将丰富我们对壮族古文字及壮族先民的了解。这些研究的继续,会为我们解决方块古壮文的发生年代、古壮文与花山崖刻的关系、古壮文与水族文字的关系、坡芽歌书的发生、甘桑石刻文字的文字性质等问题创造条件。

There are at least three kinds of characters handed down in Zhuang nationality, such as ancient characters of Zhuang, Poya folk Songs and Gan Sang stone inscription, The research of ancient Zhuang characters has great significance on hiseory of Chinese characters spread, the relationship of selfsouree and borrow-source words and the germination of mixed characters. The study of Poya Folk Songs help us to undestand the basic features of early writing systems. The study of Gan Sang stone inscription which is in early stage can enrich our understanding of ancient Zhuang characters and ancestors of Zhuang nationality. All the studies will cerate conditions for solve problems as germination age of ancient characters of Zhuang, the relationship of ancient characters of Zhuang and Shan stone inscription, the relationship of ancient characters of Zhuang and the ancient charaters of Sui People, the germination of Folk Songs, the properties of Gan Sang stone inscription.
