Toward Defining and Cultivating Professional Understanding and Ethics in Teaching“Land Renovation”

"土地整治学"课程是中国地质大学(北京)培养土地整治卓越工程师的主干课程,因此,教学过程中加强工程意识与工程精神的培养至关重要。工程意识与工程精神的内涵丰富,在土地整治卓越工程师培养的过程中要深度挖掘土地整治工程的工程意识与工程精神,不同的土地整治类型在工程技术体系层面均有对应的工程意识与工程精神。在工程意识与工程精神培养过程中,学校、企业和社会应相互协作,充分发挥各自的作用。

The course of ＂land renovation＂ is one of core courses in the undergraduate program of training excellent engineers of land reclamation in China University of Geosciences （Beijing）. The connotation of engineering awareness and spirit is rich and essential to cultivating young engineers for their future career. In the teaching process, efforts should be made at extracting the tacit professional understanding and ethics with the recognition that different land renovation types involve different engineering awareness and understanding. Coordinated efforts should be made by university, enterprises and other related sectors of the society to strengthen the cultivation of professional understanding and ethics.
