The Analysis of the Status Quo of Open Access Journals Indexed by ISI

论文采用全样本研究,对DOAJ平台上的9136种开放获取期刊被ISI引文索引收录情况进行实证分析。根据统计,有532种开放获取期刊被ISI引文索引收录,整体比例偏低;被收录开放获取期刊由49个国家或地区出版,美国、巴西、英国、西班牙、智利等国家被收录期刊占总量的43.05%;被收录开放获取期刊虽然学科分布广泛,但也呈现出集中化程度高的特点,大部分集中在排名前几位的学科领域中;被收录开放获取期刊大多由协会学会、大学科研院所等出版机构出版。

With a whole sample research method, the authors analyze 9136 titles listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals （DOAJ） to find out those which are indexed by ISI. According to the results, there are 512 titles indexed by ISI and the ratio is relatively low. The indexed open access journals are published in 49 countries and regions, and 43.05 per cent of which are published by American publishers. The indexed journals cover a variety of subject areas, meanwhile take on a highly concentrated situation, namely most of them are published in a few disciplines; and the majority of them are published by associations, societies, universities and research institutions.
