There are three distinct philosophic perspectives for reading On Practice and On Contradiction. They are theoretical philosophy, praxis philosophy and cultural philosophy. From the perspective of theoretical philosophy, the theoretical content of On Practice and On Contradiction can be systematically interpreted. From the perspective of praxis philosophy, the traits of practical wisdom of the two works can be profoundly revealed. From the perspective of cultural philosophy, the value of On Practice and on Contradiction for the cultural constructing of contemporary China and for the cultivating of the leading group can be manifested. These three perspectives have been conducive to our understanding and accepting the two works. Analyzing the horizon characteristics of these three perspectives, explaining their contributions and revealing the existing problems will help us better understand the theoretical connotation, philosophical qualities and contemporary values of the two works.
