Analysis is made of the influence of alkali metals K and Na on the decomposition ratio of enriched Ta.The decomposition ratio can be improved from 92% to ≥99% by the adoption of precipitation conversion theory and proper addition of quartz powder as conversion agent without heating throughout the process.
