The unique style of creation is shown through every individual artist＇s works. A strong sense of tragedy is conveyed through Wang Mei＇ s modern dance works. The paper begins with the embodiment and origins of this sense of tragedy in her dance works, and researches in the perspectives of the three characteristics： the theme, the structure and the images of her sense of tragedy. It tries to summarize the cause of formation of Wang Mei＇ s individual style, and explores the rules for artists to form their unique features, providing suggestions for later choreographers to form their personal styles.
