摘要
结合传统的翻译理论和现代信息技术的发展,阐述了计算机辅助翻译的理论基础和基本原理,分析了目前流行的计算机辅助翻译软件的主要功能。根据具体的翻译实践经验,提出了利用翻译记忆技术优化翻译流程、提高翻译效率和质量的途径。针对目前计算机辅助翻译软件的不足,对计算机辅助翻译技术的未来发展给出了合理的建议。
On basis of traditional translation theory and information technology, the theoretical principle of computer aided translation（CAT） and the functions of CAT software were analyzed. The optimization of translation procedure and the improvement of translation efficiency and quality could be realized through the application of CAT software and specialized term bank＊. According to the defects of CAT software, reasonable suggestions were given for the future development of CAT technology.
