摘要 IT was lust four years ago when the eyes of the world were fixated on South Africa for the biggest and most glamorous footballing feast. With the sounds of vuvuzelas reverberating around the Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, the iconic image of the late Nelson Mandela taking center stage during the closing ceremony highlighted the spirit and success which had been the 2010 World Cup. Now it's Brazil's turn, under the watching eyes of the imposing Christ the Redeemer statue, to open its doors to the fanatic footballing world and put on a flawless show.
