China's third lunar exploration satellite Chang'e 3 was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center(XSLC)by a LM-3B launch vehicle on December 2,2013.Following the launches of Chang'e 1 and Chang'e 2 in 2007 and 2010 respectively,Chang'e 3 was designed to conduct the national first lunar surface exploration mission with a lander and a rover named Yutu.The task was the first mission of
