帕尔默文化语言学视角下汉诗英译的情感意象

An Exploration on the Emotional Imagery in the Translating of Chinese Poems into English from the Perspective of Palmer's Cultural Linguistics

诗词翻译作为一种跨语言文化的文学再创造过程,其中的情感意象是必不可少的。英汉两种文化差异很大,这就导致两种语言在文学表达上有很大的不同。帕尔默文化语言学正是以意象为核心概念,所以它对汉诗英译有很大的帮助。本文通过对汉诗英译情感意象的分析,立足于帕尔默文化语言学的视角,试图探讨汉诗英译中情感意象的传达。

Poem translation, as a cross cultural literary recreation, can not be without the emotional imagery. There is a big difference between English culture and Chinese culture, leading to the differences between their literary expression. Therefore, in the process of poem translation from Chinese to English, we need pay attention to their cultural differences. While Palmer’ s Cultural Linguistics is just a linguistic cultural theory which makes imagery as its core, so it can make some contributions to the poem translation. From the perspective of the cultur-al linguistics, the paper will make a study on the conveyance of the emotional imagery in the translating of Chi-nese poems into English by analyzing their emotional imagery.
