The First Anniversary of the Establishment of the Volunteers Team for Guiding the Public Civilization in Qingdao

依旧是红马甲、红帽子和小红旗的搭配，在早晚高峰，无论你出现在哪个路口，这抹红色总是鲜艳而灵动，那是公共文明引导志愿者的身影。他们时而挥汗如雨，时而哨声四起，举着小红旗的手臂不断挥舞。不知不觉，在青岛的街头巷尾，这一抹红色成为独特的风景。随着时间的流逝，志愿者们逐渐成为过往行人的好朋友，人们甚至会送上一句问候与关怀，这让志愿者的心里暖融融的。他们一如既往地奉献，让青岛这座城市在悄无声息地发生着变化，这是精神文明的积淀，也是这抹红色更为艳丽的原因所在。

In April 2013, by means of the press conferences and the publicity launched by the sub-district offices and news media, the Civilization Office of Qingdao City recruited volunteers for guiding the public civilization to set up a regular team to publicize daily civilization across the city, which received acclaim from the citizens. Through interview and examinations, the first group of 300 volunteers responsible for guiding civilization was recruited. Amongthem, were the volunteers serving the Olympic Sailing Competitions in 2008 as well as the senior volunteers who participated in various kinds of volunteer services all the year around. In the latter half of May 2013, the first group of 300 volunteers took their posts. During the morning and the evening rush-hour, at 100 crossroads and bus stations in Shinan District, Shibei District and Licang District, they were responsible for keeping the traffic order.
